ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC TRAINERS IN TEXAS
Each summer the Texas High School Baseball Coaches’ Assn’ (THSBCA) holds an All-Star game for outstanding graduated senior players in the state of Texas.
Consequently, there is a need for two Texas high school athletic trainers to cover these events.
There are two games: a small school (1A; 2A; 3A; 4A) and a large school (5A; 6A) game played at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, usually on the 3rd Saturday in June.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
- You must be a licensed athletic trainer in Texas
- You must be an active member of SWATA
- You must be currently employed as a full-time athletic trainer in a Texas high school.
- You must have proof of professional liability.
One athletic trainer will be selected for the North, and one for the South.
THSBCA will pay your mileage to & from Round Rock; your meals; your hotel room (you may bring family); will provide you with a cap, T-Shirt, and an All-Star ring; will feature you in the game program; and will provide ice & water at workouts & games.
Athletic trainers are selected randomly from the list of applicants, and your application is good for 3 years, at which time you may re-apply.
This is a great opportunity to represent SWATA and to promote our profession to coaches, athletes, media, and fans, as well as a nice honor for you as an
athletic trainer.
If interested, EMAIL ME or call me at 214-695-3064, and I will furnish you with an application form, along with further information, and answer any questions if needed.
